AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Momani, on Thursday said the establishment of the Jordanian Radio (JR) has been and is still one of 'our most significant achievements and a major pillar of the national and Arab media.' In a tweet on the Prime Ministry's official website on the occasion of Jordanian Radio's 59th anniversary on Thursday, the minister said this media outlet has reflected since its foundation the national and pan-Arab concerns and causes, and continues to air the voice of peace to all Arabs.
Al-Momani, who is also Government Spokesperson, said Jordan Radio was launched in 1959 as the voice of the nation and the first ever awareness-raising media institution.
