According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 18 degrees Celsius, 20 in the northern cities dropping down to 8 degrees in both areas at night, while mercury levels in the southern parts of the country will stand at 17 degrees during daytime, sliding to 5 at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 28 degrees and lows standing at 17 at night, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will continue to rise on Saturday, reaching 4-5 degrees above their seasonal average and bringing warm conditions across the country with high clouds and southwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
