Unstable weather conditions forecast to bring rain
AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom on Monday will be affected by unstable weather conditions, pushing temperatures few degrees down and bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rain across many parts of the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief.
The country will receive heavy rain accompanied by thunder at times with southwesterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach 17 degrees Celsius, 18 in the northern cities and 15 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 10, 11 and 9 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 25 degrees and lows standing ta 16 at night, the JMD said .
Similar weather will remain on Tuesday, but with scattered showers across the country, the JMD said, adding that clouds will gradually decrease as conditions starts to stabilize.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday, but relatively cold conditions will continue in the hilly area, while it will be pleasant in the Badia region and warm in the Jordan Valley and in the port city of Aqaba.
