AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, creating pleasant weather in the hilly areas and warm conditions in other parts of the Kingdom with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the Badia regions.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), the weather will be cold at night with medium and high clouds and a chance for light rain, mainly in the northern regions.
Mercury levels will slightly on Monday with partly cloudy skies and a chance for light showers in the northern and central areas of the country, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk at times, the JMD said.
A further in temperatures is expected on Tuesday with similar weather conditions, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, raising dust in the Badia areas. Fog formation is also forecast at night in various regions, causing low visibility, the JMD added.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 8 degrees, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 27 degrees dropping down to 17 degrees at night.
