Pleasant day, before unstable conditions arrive at night
AMMONNEWS - Pleasant conditions are forecast to prevail on Wednesday during daytime, but as we head into the night, unstable weather will start affecting the country, bringing cloudy skies and scattered showers across many areas, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman will reach 17 degrees Celsius, 18 in the northern cities and 13 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 8, 6 and 4 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the Gulf of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees and lows standing at 16 at night.
The Kingdom will remain under the impact of the unstable conditions on Thursday, pushing mercury levels down few degrees. Therefore, it will be relatively cold and partly cloudy with drizzles across the country, the JMD added.
Heavy rainfall is also forecast Thursday morning mainly in the central and eastern parts of the Kingdom.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Friday, bringing back pleasant and warm conditions across the country. Light showers are forecast in the evening mainly in the eastern and southern parts of the Kingdom, the department explained.
