AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, met Tuesday with Azerbaijan Minister of Economic Development, Shahin Mustafayev, who led his country's delegation to the joint Jordanian-Azerbaijani ministerial committee's meetings, which have recently concluded in Amman.
Safadi underlined the importance of the 3rd session of the meetings, which coincide with the two countries celebrating the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
The foreign minister noted the continuous development of political and economic relations between the two countries.
Mustafayev commended a protocol the countries signed to cement cooperation in various economic, cultural and educational fields as well as the fields of agriculture and renewable energy.
The Azeri minister lauded Jordan's progress despite regional circumstances and stressed his country's keenness to bolster cooperation and consultation in various issues.
