King, Queen to take part in World Economic Forum in Davos
AMMONNEWS - Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, will take part in World Economic Forum Annual Meeting that will be held during January 23-26 in Davos, Switzerland under the theme 'Creating a Shared Future in a Fractured World'.
The King is expected to meet on the sidelines of the event with leaders and representatives of the participating countries in the forum including the kings of Spain and Belgium, the presidents of France and Poland, the German chancellor as well as the prime ministers of a number of Arab and friendly countries.
His Majesty will also take part in a panel discussions with Fareez Zakaria host of CNN's 'Fareed Zakaria GPS' program.
A total of 3,000 participants from 100 countries will attend the forum's sessions including 70 heads of state, and government representatives, heads of 38 major international organizations in addition to world political, economic, and media leaders.
The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting will focus on means to enhance cooperation in areas related to international security, environment and global economy.
