Senate to hold meetings to discuss Royal Discussion Papers
AMMONNEWS - The Senate will start as of next Sunday a series of meetings chaired by Senate President Faisal Al Fayez to discuss the 7 Royal Discussion Papers published by His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Fayez said that consultative meetings for Senate members will be held for three weeks, adding that a discussion paper will be reviewed in each session.
The meetings, he noted, are part of the Senate's role and its contribution to developing the homeland and enhance its democratic, parliamentary and political march.
Fayez said that the sessions will also contribute to the comprehensive reform process led by His Majesty the King, noting that the Senate aims at reaching a clear vision on contents of the discussions papers, and present its vision on work mechanisms that will help in implementing content of these papers.
