Cold, rainy conditions expected over next three days
AMMONNEWS - A tangible in temperatures is forecast on Monday, as the Kingdom is affected by a depression centralized over Cyprus, accompanied by a cold air mass that will bring rainfall to the northern region, which will later extend to the central parts.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), scattered showers of rain are forecast in the northern and southern parts of the country.
On Tuesday, a slight rise in mercury levels is expected, but cold weather will prevail in much parts of the country with the chance for foggy conditions tonight into tomorrow morning as well. Similar conditions are also expected on Wednesday, the JMD said.
Temperatures over the next three days in Amman will range between a high of 10 degrees Celsius and a low of 6 degrees, while they will register 9 degrees during the day in the northern region and 6 degrees at night. In the port city of Aqaba, mercury levels will record 19 degrees during the day, dropping down to 12 degrees at night, the JMD added.
