During a phone conversation with of President of Jordan Press Association (JPA), Rakan Saaideh, on Wednesday added the gov't mulls all options to back the journalism industry to assume its national role, with objectivity and professionalism.
The Jordanian media outlets have always proved their capacity to showcase the country's stances towards the Mideast issues and concerns effectively, he pointed out.
' The gov't is unequivocally interested in an influential and effective national media, in a bid to reflect the citizens' feedback on the public institutions' achievements, and their aspirations as well,' he said.
Saaideh, for his part, said the phone discussions focused on the rigorous challenges the media are battling, with eye on the financial woes.
