AMMONNEWS - Health Ministry on Thursday denied a H1N1 (swine) flu-related woman death as media reports stated without verifying from competent reliable sources.
Jordan has not registered any H1N1 flu cases since 2006, the ministry's statement affirmed.
Ministry Spokesperson Hatem Azrui underlined the said reports mixed H1N1 and seasonal flus, and added a women in her thirties, infected with the seasonal flu disease, was admitted to a private hospital in the capital to get medical treatment for respiratory lung complications.
This seasonal flu-related reason, Azrui said, caused the women's death and not the N1H1 infection as circulated in the media outlets.
