FM, British minister discuss aftermath of US decision on Jerusalem
AMMONNEWS - Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs, Ayman Safadi, on Saturday discussed here with British Minister of State for the Department for International Development and Minister of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth office, Alistair Burt, the repercussions of the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and move the US embassy to Jerusalem.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue, a regional security summit in which Safadi underscored in a speech the dangers posed by President Donald Trump's decision on the region's security, mainly continued Israeli occupation, terrorism and extremism, foreign intervention, the absence of a political horizon, scarce economic opportunities and failure to provide education to millions of Arab children.
