AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are set to heat up few degrees starting Saturday and over the next two days, after a week of patchy weather and drizzly mornings, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
According to the JMD daily brief, a slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Saturday, becoming above their annual average, but the weather remains relatively cold in the hilly area and the Badia regions, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea .
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman for today will reach 16 degrees Celsius in the capital, 15 in the northern cities and 11 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 7, 6 and 5 respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register a high of 24 degrees and a low of 15 at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures will continue to rise few degrees over the next two days bringing pleasant conditions across much parts of the country with southeasterly moderate winds.
