AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will remain under the effect of the cold wet air mass on Wednesday and Thursday. Therefore, it will be relatively cold and partly cloudy to cloudy with showers at times in the western and northern parts of the Kingdom extending to other areas, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Winds will be westerly brisk with strong gusts at times, blowing dust in the desert areas, the JMD said.
On Friday, mercury levels will slightly rise, creating pleasant weather in the hilly and the Badia regions, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 12 degrees Celsius and a low of 9 degrees, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 24 degrees dropping down to 14 degrees at night, the Department noted.
