Depression forecast to lower temperatures, bring rain until Wednesday
AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will be affected by a cold wet air mass accompanied a depression on Tuesday, causing a in temperatures and bringing g partly cloudy to cloudy skies and heavy rain with thunder and lightning in the central and northern regions, extending to other areas.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), the effect of the depression will continue to prevail on Wednesday during day time, but the weather will gradually stabilize at night with a chance for light showers and northwesterly brisk to moderate winds On Thursday, relatively cold weather is expected in the hilly and the Badia regions, while it will be pleasant in other parts of the country with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD said.
Temperatures expected today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 16 degrees Celsius and a low of 9 degrees, while mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 26 degrees dropping down to 17 degrees at night, the Department added.
