Jordan's battle against terrorism is relentlessly ongoing
AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs and the government spokesman, Mohammad Al-Momani, on Monday, said Jordan's battle against terrorism is relentlessly ongoing to defeat the terrorist Daesh group, which has lost about 95 percent of territories it had previously occupied.
Speaking to a delegation of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Defense College, led by Brigadier Khalid Al Qattan, Al-Momani described as 'holistic' Jordan's strategy in addressing terrorism from military and security dimensions, noting the importance of the ideological and media dimensions as well.
Jordan has specialized units to monitor terrorist propaganda in the media, Al-Momani added.
The delegation lauded Jordan's efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah, in dealing with various regional crises and challenges, especially the Palestinian issue and the Syrian crisis.
