AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday received Lebanese member of parliament, President of the Lebanese Phalanges Party Samy Gemayel, to discuss the latest political developments in Lebanon.
During the meeting, King Abdullah highlighted the 'long-standing and brotherly' relations between Jordan and Lebanon, and expressed the Kingdom's full support of Lebanon to overcome challenges and preserve its national unity, sovereignty and stability towards a better future for the Lebanese people.
Gemayel, for his part, appreciated Jordan's stances in support of Lebanon's prosperity and regional peace and security.
The meeting was attended by the Royal Court Chief and Director of the King's office.
