Pleasant conditions forecast today, showers tomorrow
AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, creating autumn conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief .
Clouds at various altitudes and northeasterly moderate winds are also expected today, with daytime temperatures reaching 24 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern regions, and 19 in southern areas, dropping down to 13, 12 and 9 degrees respectively. Mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 29 degrees sliding to 19 at night, the JMD said.
Temperatures are forecast to few degrees on Wednesday, with partly cloudy skies and a chance for scattered showers in the eastern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times, the JMD added.
Pleasant weather conditions will prevail across many parts of the country with low clouds and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted .
