Pleasant autumn conditions continue until Wednesday
AMMONNEWS - A slight in mercury levels is expected on Monday, bringing autumn conditions in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief .
Clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds are also expected today, with daytime temperatures reaching 22 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern regions, and 16 in southern areas, dropping down to 11, 12 and 9 respectively. Mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 27 degrees sliding to 17 at night, the JMD added.
Temperatures are forecast to rise few degrees on Tuesday, but similar conditions will continue to prevail until Wednesday with northeasterly to northwesterly moderate winds. Scattered showers in the eastern and southeasterly parts of the country are also expected on Wednesday, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds stirring dust in the Badia regions, the JMD said.
