AMMONNEWS - Partly cloudy skies are forecast to prevail Thursday in the northern and central parts of the country with a slight chance of scattered showers, while it will be sunny in other regions, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in the capital and the northern cities will reach 21 degrees Celsius and in the southern parts they will stand at 18, dropping down to 12,13 and 8 respectively. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will register 30 degrees during the day, sliding to 18 at night, the JMD added.
Relatively cold conditions with cloudy skies will continue to prevail over the next two days, with low clouds that might bring scattered rain in the western parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be westerly moderate, the JMD said.
