AMMONNEWS - Autmn-like conditions will continue to prevail Sunday in most parts of the Kingdom with low clouds, especially in the western regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday, but autumn conditions will remain in the hilly areas, while it will be relatively hot in the desert region and the Jordan Valley. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in the southern and eastern areas of the country, the JMD said.
On Tuesday, mercury levels will few degrees, but similar weather conditions will continue across the Kingdom with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected in Amman and the northern areas for today will reach 29 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 16 and 15 respectively at night. Mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 36 degrees, going down to 21 at night, the JMD noted.
