AMMONNEWS - Jordan’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, has received Mattar Saif Sulaiman Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, at the ministry.
Kharabsheh congratulated Al Shamsi on his appointment as the UAE Ambassador to Jordan while reviewing the local energy situation, as Jordan currently imports most of its required energy and gas from abroad. He also discussed the available opportunities for foreign investments in this sector.
Al Shamsi and Kharabsheh also reviewed the co-operation between their two fraternal countries in the energy and mineral sectors, as well as related development plans. Kharabsheh praised the UAE’s management of energy projects and investments in many parts of the world, which is more advanced than in several developed countries.
While expressing his admiration for Masdar, an Abu Dhabi-based company, he stated that the UAE is a role model in this field.
