AMMONNEWS - The Kingdom will remain under the impact of the heatwave on Sunday, as temperatures become 6-8 degrees above their annual average hovering during daytime around 39 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern regions, while jumping to 41 degrees in Aqaba.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels will cool down at night dropping to 23 degrees Celsius in Amman and sliding to 29 in Aqaba.
Hot and dry conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days across much of the country with northwesterly light to moderate winds, the JMD added.
