Normal summer Thursday, heatwave forecast over weekend
AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions are expected to prevail Thursday with daytime temperatures hovering around 31 degrees Celsius in most areas, except in the Gulf of Aqaba where they will jump to 39, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Mercury levels will cool down at night reaching 22 degrees in the capital and sliding to 29 in the southern cities.
The Kingdom will be affected by a heatwave over the next two days, pushing temperatures 4-5 degrees above their seasonal average and bringing hot conditions across much parts of the country with northwesterly light to moderate winds, the JMD added.
