AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday, bringing relatively hot conditions in Amman and the hilly areas and reaching 35 degrees Celsius in most areas except in Aqaba, where they will jump to 43.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels will cool at night, dropping to 22 in the capital and the northern areas and sliding to 30 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba .
Temperatures will continue to soar over the next two days, becoming 3-4 degrees above their annual average and creating hot and dry conditions in much parts of the country, the JMD said.
