Normal summer conditions forecast Wednesday, hot over weekend
AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions will continue to prevail Wednesday in most parts of the country reaching 32 degrees Celsius in most areas except in Aqaba, where they will jump to 41.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), mercury levels will cool at night, dropping to 20 in the capital and the northern areas and sliding to 28 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba .
On Thursday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected, bringing relatively hot conditions in Amman and the hilly areas, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with northwesterly light to moderate winds, the JMD said.
Temperatures will continue to soar on Friday, becoming 3-4 degrees above their annual average creating hot conditions in the capital and the mountainous areas and very hot in other parts of the country, the department added.
