AMMONNEWS - Normal weather conditions are expected to continue on Thursday as temperatures remain around their seasonal average and reaching during daytime 33 degrees Celsius in Amman while jumping to 40 in Aqaba , according to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD).
Mercury levels will cool down at night recording 22 degrees in the capital and sliding to 29 in the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD said.
Temperatures will slightly rise on Friday, but similar summer conditions will continue to prevail across much of the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD added.
On Saturday, a further rise in mercury levels is forecast, bringing relatively hot conditions in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be hot in other parts of the country, the department noted.
