AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Hani al-Mulki, Thursday arrived in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum on a one-day official visit, during which he will chair meeting of the 7th session of the Higher Sudanese-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee.
Upon arrival at the Khartoum International Airport, al-Mulki was received by First Vice-President of the Republic, Prime Minister Bakri Hassan Saleh, a number of ministers and senior officials, the Jordanian ambassador in Khartoum and the Sudanese ambassador in Amman.
During the meeting, the committee will discuss mechanisms to enhance bilateral cooperation in all fields, especially in terms of boosting trade exchange and removing all obstacles that may impede the process of joint cooperation.
At the end of the meetings, the two sides will sign several agreements, Memoranda of Understanding and executive programs designed to regulate areas of cooperation between the two countries in various domains.
The premier is accompanied by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Adel Al-Twaisi, Agriculture Minister Khalid Al-Hanifat, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Yarob Al-Qudah, Transport Minister Jamil Mujahid, as well as representatives of the private sector of businessmen and chambers of industry and trade.
