AMMONNEWS - The Egyptian Prime minister, Sharif Ismail, early Thursday, arrived in Amman to co-chair with his Jordanian counterpart Hani Mulki, the 27th session of the Joint Jordanian-Egyptian Higher Committee meeting. Upon arrival at the Queen Alia International airport, Ismail was received by the premier and a number of officials.
During the meeting, the two sides will discuss means of boosting economic cooperation, including investments, supporting SMEs, exports, standards and specifications as well as means of protecting national production.
The joint committee will also tackle other areas including cooperation in the fields of pharmaceutical industry, labour issues, electrical power as well as means of facilitating the entry of agricultural produce to both countries.
Deals and Memorandum of Understandings covering a number of areas will be signed at the end of the meeting.
