AMMONNEWS - Mercury levels on Monday are expected to become 4-5 degrees above their annual average, creating hot conditions and pushing daytime temperatures to 37 degrees Celsius in most areas, while it will hike to 45 in Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) .
Temperatures will cool down at night dropping to 24 degrees in most parts of the country and sliding to 30 degrees in the Gulf of Aqaba, the JMD said.
Similar hot conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days, with north westerly moderate winds, the JMD said further.
