Temperatures set to soar to upper 30s as heat wave continues
AMMONNEWS - Hot conditions are expected to prevail Sunday and over the next two days with daytime temperatures reaching 36 degrees Celsius in the capital and the northern regions, and hiking to 44 in the Gulf of Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) .
Winds will be northwesterly light to moderate blowing dust in the Badia regions.
Mercury levels will cool down at night dropping to 25 degrees in much parts of the country and sliding to 30 degrees in the gulf of Aqaba, the JMD said.
