AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday, but relatively hot conditions will continue to prevail in the hilly areas, the eastern plains and the Badia region, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the eastern and southern regions.
Temperatures in Amman for today will range between a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a low of 20 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will jump to 40 degrees sliding to 26 degrees, the JMD added.
A further rise in mercury levels is forecast over the next two days , becoming 5-6 degrees above their seasonal average. Therefore, it will be hot across much of the country with northwesterly moderate to light winds, the JMD said.
