AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to a few degrees Thursday and Friday, becoming 2-3 degrees below their annual average reaching 26 degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern areas during daytime and dropping to 14 in the capital at night.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief, pleasant and moderate conditions will continue across much of the Kingdom with high clouds and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds.
Mercury levels expected in the Gulf of Aqaba for today will jump to 35 degrees sliding to 22 at night, the JMD added.
A slight rise in mercury levels is expected on Saturday, but moderate conditions will continue to prevail in the hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in in the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, the JMD said.
