AMMONNEWS - Another cold days and chilly nights are still forecast to prevail Tuesday and over the next two days, with daytime temperatures ranging between 14-16 degrees Celsius in most regions, except in the Gulf of Aqaba where mercury levels jump to 26, the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) said.
Chilly nights will also be observed as mercury levels to 2 degrees in the southern regions and 6 in Amman and northern parts of the country.
According to the JMD, relatively cold conditions will prevail in the hilly areas, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba, with clouds at various altitudes.
Scattered showers, and heavy rain accompanied with thunder and lightning are also forecast in the northern parts of the country with westerly to northwesterly winds.
