AMMONNEWS - Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Human Rights at the Arab League, Amjad Shammout called for seizing the upcoming Arab summit in Amman to unify Arab ranks to address common challenges, mainly the fight against terrorism, protects civilians, support host countries of Syrian refugees and counter Israeli violations.
Shammout told Petra upon his return from Iraq, that he discussed with Iraqi officials Iraq's approval to form an Arab court for human rights.
He said that he had also reviewed with Iraqi officials means to put an end to human rights violations committed by terrorist groups against civilians in a number of countries, mainly in Iraq.
