AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II received cables of good wishes on his 55th birthday from kings and leaders of a number of Arab and friendly countries.
King Abdullah also received cables from the prime minister, the Senate president, the Lower House speaker, the president of the Judicial Council, the Royal Court chief, the president of the Constitutional Court, King's Advisor for National Security Affairs and Intelligence Director, the Chairman of the Independent Elections Commission, the chief justice, the grand mufti of Jordan, the army chief, the directors of the departments of public security, civil defense and gendarmerie, the Economic and Social Association of Retired Servicemen and Veterans, as well as, senior officials and representatives of grassroots.
The senders of the cables stressed that celebrating His Majesty's birthday comes as the Kingdom is preparing to host the 28th session of the Arab summit on March 29, 2017.
