AMMONNEWS - The Department of Defense announced Sunday that a soldier from Cibolo has died.
Spc. Isiah L. Booker died on Saturday in a “noncombat related incident” while serving in Jordan. His death remains under investigation, the Army said.
The soldier is not the first Texan killed during the operation. In November, Staff Sgt. James Moriarty, from Kerrville alongside two others soldiers died when their convoy came under fire while entering a Jordanian military base.
