AMMONNEWS - Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah, Sunday said the government works to advance economic cooperation with Kenya and benefit from a recent visit paid by HM King Abdullah to the African nation.
Welcoming a Kenyan delegation led by Chris Kiptoo, Principal Secretary in-charge of Trade in Kenya’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Co-operatives, the minister said the two countries will ink a framework agreement next month, which will help sign further trade deals.
He also said that Jordan is enthusiastic about developing economic cooperation with Kenya as a gateway to the African market.
Kiptoo said Kenya looked forward to strengthening ties in economic and other fields, adding that mutual visits by officials would help to further promote cooperation.
