AMMONNEWS - Polish President, Andrzej Duda, on Sunday, visited the King Abdullah II Design And Development Bureau (KADDB), accompanied by a Polish ministerial delegation and heads of defensive systems' manufacturing companies in Poland.
KADDB's Chairman of the Board of directors, Atef Al Tal, briefed President Duda on the vision of the bureau, which was established by a Royal Decree in 1999 to meet Jordan's defense needs, through building national capacities and developing knowledge that focuses on manpower.
Al Tal expressed hope to cooperate with Poland, which has come a long way in the field of defense industries, saying it's the perfect time to promote this cooperation to serve both countries through exchanging technology, knowledge and joint manufacturing.
Al Tal underlined Jordan's security and stability in the region, as well as its investment climate, high-standards education, health system, infrastructure, in addition to its industrial zones that offer high advantages for investors.
The Polish President paid tribute to his country's participation in the Special Operations Forces Exhibition (SOFEX) in 2014 and 2016 and what Polish companies had to offer at the high-profile gathering.
President Duda spoke about the Jordanian-Polish cooperation program, as both countries had signed a cooperation agreement in 2014, which came into effect through the start of cooperation in the areas of military manufacturing.
