AMMONNEWS - Russia's historical southern region of Crimea rejoined the country after a 2014 referendum, when over 96 percent of the region's population voted for reunification.
'Our delegation and our people would like to strengthen friendship and establish economic relations between Jordan and Crimea,' Dabbah said at the meeting with the Crimean authorities, adding that the delegation is particularly interested in the cooperation in the fields of tourism and education.
Head of Russia’s Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov said in turn that Jordan would find trustworthy partners in the republic.
