Nuptials flourish at UAE-Jordanian camp for Syrian refugees
AMMONNEWS - The UAE-Jordanian camp for Syrian refugees has staged 75 weddings since opening in April 2013, according to its deputy director Salem Al Mazrouei, state news agency Wam reported.
'The camp’s management provides support to the couple in the form of a furnished caravan and cash. The management and the Emirati relief team also contribute in the cost of the wedding, hosted in a hall built for social events,' said Mr Al Mazrouei.
'We try to spread happiness and joy among Syrian refugees by helping them to lead a normal life.'
