Ammon News : AMMONNEWS - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Commerce, Jawad Al-Anani, on Monday, said Jordan was the only country which managed to withstand the turmoil in the Middle East region over the past few years.

Speaking an international conference on the Middle East at the University of Jordan's Center for Strategic Studies, Al-Anani said wise policy pursued by His Majesty King Abdullah II secured the Kingdom wide international respect and a role in finding solutions to the region's problems. He emphasized that the international community must recognize that Jordan can play a pivotal role in the rebuilding of the region, finding compromises and reestablishing intra-regional relationships.
