Britain grants $34mln to refugees and host communities in Jordan
AMMONNEWS - The government had endorsed a $34-million grant provided by Britain to Syrian refugees and host communities in Jordan, according to Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Imad Fakhoury.
The grant is dedicated to a project designed to strengthen national protection systems to 'vulnerable groups' in governorates that are affected by the Syrian refugee crisis the most, the minister explained in a statement.
It also seeks to harness community leaders' skills in areas of devising community-oriented projects and defining its needs.
