Partly cloudy weather forecast Tuesday, mild over next two days
AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures with partly cloudy skies are expected on Tuesday with a chance for scattered showers in the highlands, northern and central parts of the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) .
Winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate to brisk with strong gust blowing dust in the Badia regions.
At night, cold conditions are expected to prevail in most parts of the country, while it will be mild in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Wednesday and Thursday, but similar conditions will remain with clouds on various altitudes in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk blowing dust in the desert areas, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 21 degrees Celsius dropping down to 13 at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 31 degrees plunging to 21 at night, the JMD daily brief said.
