AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected Saturday and Sunday, becoming around their annual average; therefore moderate conditions will prevail across the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly moderate.
On Monday, the Kingdom will be affected by a wet and mild air mass, causing tangible in temperatures and they will become below their seasonal average. Therefore, mild conditions will prevail in most parts of the country, while it will be moderate in the Jordan valley, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
At night, the JMD said, low clouds will build up bringing partly cloudy conditions with a chance for scattered showers, mainly in the northern and central parts of the country.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 29 degrees Celsius and a low of 17 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 36 degrees plunging to 24 degrees at night, the JMD added.
