AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, Monday, visited the General Directorate of Gendarmerie where he discussed with its director, Major General Hussein Al- Hawwatmh a number of issues of concern to the directorate.
The King was also briefed by Major General Hussein Al- Hawwatmh, on the agency's future plans and training programs that aim to reach a high level of professionalism and readiness.
Al- Hawwatmh said that the gendarmerie forces are working continuously to implement the directives of His Majesty by taking the necessary measures to safeguard the security and safety of citizens, in cooperation and coordination with other security agencies, and to ensure the enforcement of the law and the preservation of human rights.
The King voiced his appreciation and pride in members of the gendarmerie. He also commended their efficiency and efforts to preserve the security and stability of the country.
