Jordanian pilgrims' bus accident hasn't been confirmed, ministry
AMMONNEWS - Reports about a Jordanian pilgrims' bus accident in Saudi Arabia, and the death of a number of pilgrims has not yet been officially confirmed, Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs spokesperson, Sabah al Rifai said.
Al Rifai told Petra early Tuesday that the ministry is in constant contact with the Saudi authorities who have not confirmed the accident that involved a bus carrying Jordanian pilgrims.
The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs also denied in a statement reports about the accident, saying that all Jordanian pilgrims performing Umra (the lesser pilgrimage) in Saudi Arabia are safe.
