AMMONNEWS - Border guards early Saturday destroyed two vehicles used by drug smugglers as they attempted to breach the frontier, and seized large amounts of drugs stashed inside them, according to a source at the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army Command Headquarters.
It said guards on the north-eastern border spotted the cars, which were coming from Syrian territory, and applied rules of engagement, destroying them and seizing the contraband, which included 4 million drug pills weighing 835 KG, 4,364 bags of hashish (815 KG) with a combined weight of 1,650 KG.
