AMMONNEWS - Chairman of the United States House of Representatives' Committee on Foreign Affairs, Ed Royce, on Sunday, said Jordan is considered a key ally of the U.S. and sets a model for security and stability in this turbulent part of the world.
During a visit to the UNICEF-sponsored child car home 'Makani' in the Amman district of Marka, the U.S. lawmaker said the center underlines Jordan's efforts to rehabilitate refugee children whether they are from Syria or Iraq or any other part of the world.
He added that he and other fellow lawmakers will look firsthand, during their two-day visit, at the services provided to those children and programs implemented within the Makani initiative.
