AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected Tuesday, but the weather will remain relatively cold in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be mild in the Jordan valley and the Dead Sea with low clouds.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD), frost formation is expected after midnight over the mountainous areas, the Badia region, eastern plains and parts of the northern Jordan Valley, while winds will be southeasterly moderate.
Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail on Wednesday with high clouds. In the afternoon clouds will build up with a chance for scatted showers, mainly in the northern areas of the country, the JMD added.
The meteorologists said winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk at times with frost formation at night on the hilly areas and parts of the Badia region.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 14 degrees Celsius and a low of 3 degrees at night, in the central region they will register a high of 14 degrees dropping down to zero degree, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 22 degrees plunging to 10 degrees.
